The ABHRT certification by the Academy of Preventive & Innovative Medicine (APIM) by Worldlink Medical which is globally recognized provides assurance that physicians, nurse practitioners, naturopathic doctors and medically licensed practitioners have developed high levels of competency through rigorous classroom instruction, case study review, examination process and continuing education.
What are the requirements to become ABHRT certified?
1) You must hold a current healthcare license in good standing
2) Must have graduated from an accredited medical, osteopathic, physician assistant, registered nurse, nurse practitioner or naturopathic program
3) Completion of the live course series, Part I to IV of Mastering the Protocols for Optimization of Hormone Replacement Therapy
4) Passing scores on written exams for Part I to IV of the course series*
5) Passing scores on the final written exam & a one time certification fee paid to the Academy of Preventive & Innovative Medicine by Worldlink Medical (APIM)
6) You may complete the courses in the USA and /or Canada and still obtain the ABHRT Certification. All course content is identical whether you train in the USA or Canada
*All exams include questions specific to the corresponding courses. Case studies within the exams will become increasingly complicated to evaluate retention from prior courses

This also shows the CPSO, ACP, OAND, CAND, RNO & the NPAO, etc. you are continously updating your CME credits. Reasonable retake fee's are offered to graduates

Neal Rouzier M.D.
Dr. Neal Rouzier is a pioneer in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, practicing almost since its inception in the early 1990’s. He has dedicated his life’s work to uncovering the medical literature that supports safe and effective protocols for unique and personalized patient care. He is the Director of the Preventive Medicine Clinics of the Desert, in California, specializing in the medical management of aging and preventive care for men and women. He has treated more than 3,000 patients with natural hormone replacement therapy and is recognized as a renowned leader and expert in the field.

Recently the medical community has undergone criticism for journalistic articles and medical studies that promote one drug or treatment over another. There are often political or economic gains behind the purpose or results of the studies, which leads to inappropriate and biased conclusions or recommendations in these articles. This has negatively impacted the credibility of some authors and journals. Some medical journals provide a study rating score so that the reader may be able to discern any bias of a study’s treatment or product. In addition, medical journals and textbooks now use the term “evidence-based medicine” (EBM) in order to assert credibility for a medical treatment based on peer-reviewed studies or meta-analysis. The purpose of this introduction is to prevent the reader from being led astray by the political and economic bias from paid authors of medical journal papers with misleading agendas.
